David Tua was a very tough and fast fighter. Makoke has a hell of a punch and a great jaw. Who takes him?

Tua. His hook was no joke and he had one hell of a chin to boot.

I seen this done in the classic a month or so ago, Bakole beats him in a similar fight to the Ibeabuchi fight, Bakole outworks him on the inside where it’s competitive and on the few occasions the fight is on the outside, Bakole outjabs him.

Young Tua destroys him. Fat stationary Tua would be a toss up.

He's not outworking Tua, watch Bakole fight Kuzmin in the pocket. This is Joyce all over again. Bakole will have to lose again to dispel the hype

Tua would stop him in 6-8.

Tua has ridiculously short arms for a HW so if you judge distance right you would beat him.

Bakole though isn’t a jab and mover so it would be a close fight. You have to fancy Tua as he fought at a higher level.

When these matchups take place I always assume best vs. best version.

So Bakole/Anderson version vs. Tua/Ibeabuchi version:

Bakole isn't a mover, you beat Tua (other than Ike) by staying out of the pocket, avoiding trading, out-boxing him from range. David Tua has "never", and let me again stress "never" been beating by an opponent that walked to him (other than the phenom that was Ike).

    Tua by TKO9

    Ike was 6'2" and 250lbs.

    Bakole is 6'5" and 280lbs.

Bakole would be bigger than Lewis was against Tua.

Kinda hard for me to see Tua winning this. But I suppose he has a punchers chance.

I’m going for Tua here, I think if Tua was still active right now he would be the biggest puncher in the heavyweight division.
I don’t think there’s any one with his power or ability to find an opening in the pocket, he would eat a lot of shots but there’s no one with the power that compares with what he faced.
I think his stamina was underrated but he could still keep the pressure on while taking a break, he would still come forward.
But let’s be fair to Bakole he has not peaked yet, he was beaten by hunter but he got injured during the fight.
Hunter doesn’t have half the speed of Tua but he has better lateral movement and mobility, Tua was more of a Tyson style bob and weave, turning his shoulders and body but staying flat and planted.
I think Tua would be an absolute nightmare for Bakole and for everyone else in the division right now.

Bakole might just edge this...but then, Tua IS 51 now and hasn't been active lately....

Tua smacks him so hard he turns into a he/she.
