At what angle of the back should be bent at? 90 or 45 degrees? Some so-called experts swear by 45 some say 90 degrees. Share your views. I feel at 45 degrees work my back as a whole more, at 90 degrees I feel im using my arms too much.
Either or. Being up at a 45 degree angle works your upper back and traps more, being bent over at 90 degrees works your lats more.
I don't like this exercise. Do dumbell row's insted lad.. I do 50kg one armed Dummbell Row's. I find that Barbell Bentover row's, put allot of stress on my lower back.."Good stress"..don't get me wrong. But if i wanted to exercise my lower back specific i would do good mornings, or back extensions holding a weighted plate. Depends what you want... Nothing wrong with barbell bent over row's, i just personally don't like them. It's personal..
im the opposite to you. I can't stand dumbbell rows. Mainly because i dont feel my back. I feel my arms doing most of the work. I've tried dumbells from 10kg to 30kg but only feel my arms doing the work and not my lats, i dont know why.
