Just seen Eddie Hearn on Ringside saying they are in deep talks with Pirogs people over this fight and HBO like this fight.I think Barker could outbox him to a points win, but it`s a hard fight to call imo.

all honesty i think pirog is a very good fighter.... yes he has somewhat been quiet since knocking out danny jacobs but thats a tough fight for barker.

Would love to see this. Barker proved he is on the fringes of World class against Martinez and Pirog hasn't really yet shown he proves to be considered one of the best of a talented bunch, although he has shown some flashes of brilliance IMO.

Barker doesn't have enough power though IMO, and where he's so straight-on I think it's Pirog bringing the angles, surprising him and cutting him down, although I think Barker is a live dog here and could well box his way into the fight, really hope it comes off for him.

Sure hope this fight happens, will be a close one i think. But i take it it will be a home fight for Pirog?

  5. These are the sort of fights that the middleweight division needs.

There's lots of talent in the division but in the last few years hardly any of the fights have been made.

Pirog gets a little bit overrated IMO but it's still a really good fight and the Russian would be the favourite.

Hope they get it done :good

If Golovkin-HNDNJ comes off it will be a right move as well. Have the winners ight each other bingo, Sergio can stop moaning and actually have a worthwhile opponent that HBO will happily give him some $$$s to fight.

Wow, these middleweights are loving their bogus fights. No one has a ****ing clue who the man is and that includes Martinez!
