The guy shouldnt have been in the ring with Barrera.

And Morales got flamed for fighting Velardez.

There is an unconfirmed rumor that he paid the poor guy to make him win by a KO. :D

Morales was in his prime when he fought Velardez while Barrera is way past his prime.big diference right there.

Was this fight at SFW, LW or at a catchweight?

Can't see Barrera doing much at LW rather than increasing his chance of injury. He is past his prime now and LW is a very dangerous division at the moment. However, he could pick up a SFW belt as one final swansong; Nicky Cook, by all means ISN'T bad at all, would be the best choice. But Barrera would have to put on one last great performance, to beat a younger man who has mixed with fairly decent opposition (Luevano, battered, blamed weight drainage; Alex Arthur, HE lost and blamed weight draining)

elite fighters, though shot and past it, can still take on younger competitors.
