    Marquez at Featherweight.

The one that turned up for a ageing Pedroza would have a chance. But I just see all beating him......

No way every one of those guys would knock out Mcguigan, he might go the distance with Marquez but thats 50/50. Barrera would stop him in the mid rounds but it would be a helluva fight for about 6 rounds then Barrera turns it up and stops Mcguigan in 8 or 9 rounds. Morales too. My guess is that Marquez stops him late.
Mcguigan would make a go of it for awhile but These guys are a notch above him.

McGuigan is a little underrated I think due to a short prime. The McGuigan who beat Pedroza and tracked down Taylor (also beat Laporte) was very good. He had a very good, hard jab and a devastating left hook/uppercut. I'll say he pulls an upset and goes 1-2. I think Morales is the toughest matchup for him.

Actually I think Mcguigan is a little overated. I think ive had this debate on this forum a few times. In my opinion he was lucky to get into the HOF. There are other fighters that were better than Barry that arent in The IBHOF.
Dont get me wrong Barry was a very good fighter but far from a great.

I think Barry probably got into the Hall based on his work being analyst through the years too didn't he? He's a hell of a lot better than anyone else this side of the pond when talking about the game.

I don't pay much attention to the Hall of Fame. I think there are many atrocities that exist with the Hall of Fame as far as who's in or who's out. Barry McGuigan beat Laporte, Pedroza, and Bernard Taylor in a pretty short time span. During that period of time, his prime, I definitely think he could hang with the fighters mentioned. Yeah Pedroza was hanging on but McGuigan got it done where others didn't. Taylor wasn't a great but a very difficult guy to catch and McGuigan did a beautiful job cutting of the ring and getting him out in 8.

He would have put up a tough fight against all three but I can see him winning againast any of them.
