maybe your right, but hes just hyping himself. he had a title shot vs stevenson so i guess he doesnt wanna drop another level, he wont go as far at cruiserweight, theres alot more harder hitting tougher men, mini heavyweights. even though cleverley looked alright in the weight in i dont think hes solid enough aswell. but give him his dues, id be an arrogant european level fighter anyway, its no mean feat. not everyone is world class, and because your not world class doesnt mean your not a bloody good fighter. so lets judge bellew on his performances not his rants. If anyone here were a good enough to fight at european level, they can be as ****y as they like. i wonder when bellew actually said he was a top guy at this division anyway.
Not every boxer acts and talks like they're world class when they're clearly not, either. I have been doing, he's average; better than domestic level but a million miles away from the big boys. Nothing special and nothing to write home about, in my opinion. Pretty much every-time he speaks. Going to destroy Stevenson, going to batter Cleverly worse than Kovalev, gonna give it to Huck, etc.
if hes that bad he aint european level, when i think european level. i think top 7-15 ranked. when i think european level i think of taking the best out of the division which is usually top 10 fighters in the world and then just below them depending on how stacked the division is. when i think british level i think top 30-50 in the division, unless your talking flyweights and mimimuim weights where we have nobody. anyway he went in saying he'd do stevenson thinking stevenson was overated so i cant hold anything against him there. batter cleverley worse than kovalev was a bit idiotic lol. gonna give it to huck (thats hype m8)
