Maybe I am missing something here, but why would Bellew cause a suprise if he caught Ward on the chin and KO him? Bellews last fight was two weights and almost 40lb heavier?

Let's put it another way........no sane man on Gods earth would give Ward a prayer against Haye.

Fair point, but a few years ago Bellew was fighting at a weight only a few pounds heavier than what Ward is currently at. It shouldn't be a surprise, but Ward is so so good at nullifying opponents.

    Then I'm not a sane man :)

On this point, all we can really do is speculate. Personally I am still confident a fit Haye can do anyone out there, including AJ.

If I remember correctly, TB was trying to emancipate his new hero status next day by telling people he broke his hand.

Now if Bellew broke his hand bad, recovery time for a fighter 6 -9 months and of course Haye done his Achilles 9 -12 months, then that 3 month overlap shouldn't be an issue in the bigger scheme of a £10 - £12 million pot shared between the two?

Lol do people really think that Hearn would really entertain Ward - Bellew ahead of Haye - Bellew 2 which would genrate 3 or 4 times more money!

Ward isn't a big enough draw in UK for this to happen. It won't happen.

Amazing how some posters on here talking again about Bellew and Haye. Same posters said it wouldn't go 2 rounds. Well it went to round 5 before Haye got injured couldn't get the job done, haye is finished no where near the speed he had, which was the X factor he brought to the heavyweight division.

Only idiots would ignore the commonly known FACT that Haye was injured before going in the ring. Even Bellew stated it before the fight!

That ring walk? Have you ever seen a boxer go like that to a ring before unhampered?

Anyone who thinks Haye was ONLY injured in round 5 is a moron who knows nothing about boxing and should give up posting on this site right now.

Not that anyone ever takes notice of what you say anyway Bensub.:bananaride

Tbf Bellew called it he said Haye's body would give up on him, and I was in very small minority backing Bellew nearly everyone at work/in gym had Haye rounds 1-3 or first time he landed. I gave Bellew first round as he landed back hand counter everytime Haye fell short, he then stopped throwing it which would suggest a hand injury

I think Bellew hits harder than Kov at cruiser, no question.

If Bellew connects like kov did, Ward will go down.

Would be a great fight, hope it happens!

Bellew prob hits similar to kov taking into consideration weight advantage . But kov has that freaky way of producing big shots with accuracy and zero wind up or telegraph which is why it catches opponents out

I will take David Hayes word/interview over some keyboard warrior who could fight his way out of a paper bag with little gay boy emojis. Ha.

Sounds boy, like you are the one who is trying to be a 'keyboard warrior'.

The FACT is Hayes interview stating he had no injury, was only said so he doesn't risk jepardising the possible rematch. I understand why you take this as face value though, since it is obvious you don't have the mental capacity to go deeper.

Most of the people on this forum have the capabilities to comprehend, that dispite what Haye said, he didnt mean it and only said it for his long term ambitions. You obviously, are not one of those, and look at things in more simple terms.:nonono
