Ridiculous that he called for Khan, he should have been roasted for that, why doesn't he call out a fight for the British title, he may as well call out a YouTuber if he's all about the money, which he is. Look at Connor Benn and look at Josh Taylor, it's criminal that Benn could be a PPV draw before Taylor is, absolutely criminal.
We all know Conor Benn has a serious chip on his shoulder about something. Maybe he feels like no one takes him seriously because he's 5ft 2 and looks like an absolute wally, however him calling out Khan has Eddie Hearn's grubby little hands all over it. So I don't think the blame should go to Benn for calling out King Con. A few weeks back, Khan's reality series came out and he said he wants Brook now. Hearn obviously very salty about what Brook did to him, downplays the fight as a past fight that no one wants to see anymore. When he has ever said about Brook v Khan??? Ever since then, Sky and Matchroom slowly started to manufacture this Benn v Khan fight and officially called for it after the fight on Saturday. Hearn wants to divert Khan with Conor Benn, making sure Brook doesn't get the Khan fight by delaying it as much as he can with distractions. If Khan v Brook is a past it fight then why is Khan a credible opponent for Conor Benn? If Benn wins, Khan rides off into the sunset. If Khan wins, it's delayed the Brook fight for another year possibly. That's Hearn's thinking the slimey bstard. Conor, dumb as a rock has just toed the line like a lapdog.

The Khan fight shouldn't be an option and it shouldn't be a money fight as nobody should be paying for that rubbish, there wouldn't even be a meaningful belt on the line, it's Eubank Jr v Degale levels of absolute rubbish. As I mentioned earlier, he may as well fight YouTubers if he wants a money fight. We're yet to see Conor Benn in a 60-40 fight, let alone a 50-50 and people are talking about him like he's this 147 killing machine, a fight with Khan proves nothing.
I very much doubt Khan would take the fight. He wants Brook because he feels Kell is the more shot of them both. Amir gets a decent payday and goes out on a high with his childish beef with Brook sorted.

Well, I think he had prefered Khan for 10000 rather than Aveyasan for 1 000 000. That's it. He will beat Khan and he does know this.
Pointless fight, just another Matchroom cash grab. Khan was done ages ago, we all know it, Crawford was the cash out. They have larged up Benn now, "future PPV star", Nigel calling out Porter FFS and some other ridiculous claims, so now they have little room for manoeuvre. They can't go backwards, yet they can't really move forward yet because Benn isn't ready or they don't trust him, if they wanted to genuinely move forward then Avanesyan would have been the name they were calling out.. and trying to win a meaningful title. So they have no other option for the time being but to go after shot, shopworn old fighters with history's and "names". It annoys me that some people are just not seeing it, Vargas was billed on who he LOST to, not who he beat, when a fighter turns up and you are talking about his list of defeats... then it isn't really a contest, the fight is going one way and Benns performance/win is going to be compared to other fighters performances and Vargas' other defeats. I have no interest in Benn fighting Brook or Khan, it will tell us absolutely nothing about him, Brook and Khan are done, if Benn is what they say he is then at the very least it has to be Avanesyan or somebody around that level or it's just a con job.
He may not need them but it got my goat hearing him on the Costello podcast, something along the lines of: 'people said I wouldn't get to British, European level and look at me now' well he hasn't got British or European titles and he hasnt' challenged for them and as you say he won't because he doesn't have to. But he should. Fans should hold these chancers to account. 'No Connor, I'm not buying your PPV because you've not respected the sport and gone through the levels.' There's no Community Chest card that says proceed directly to Cash in PPV do not pass British and European levels.
