I can see the BENN all action style just not working in this newer era, I think boxers are fitter, more technical and scientific in their approach, I have a feeling the '3 weight world champion in waiting' may struggle at domestic level, all i saw on saturday was a good puncher/brawler who takes one to throw two, the trouble is when you step up, often one is all they need to turn the lights out ! Exciting though and we all like that right !?

He got tagged an awful lot by someone that shouldn't be tagging you. I get that he's 19 so it doesn't really matter TOO much right now, but it was certainly very flawed

Conor wasn't impressive at all but you can see from the after fight meeting with Barry Hearn on IFL that he was just excitable and everything was getting to him. Its nowhere near his best, how good he will be no one knows but he's just a young kid that got very excited by the whole occasion. One thing I will say though that I noticed is that hen he is throwing he doesn't plant his feet and gets nowhere near the amount of power he could get into his shots. He has a lot to learn and expect him to improve his level of opposition very slowly, but give him time and he could be a very good fighter.

The footage of Barry Hearn giving him tips on technique with his two weight world champion dad in the same room was comical. I don't know what he'd been snorting, but later on in the night he was questioning the courage of Tyson Fury too.

probably the best thing that Dad is going back to Aus and watching rather than Eubanking his career as may always motivate him to brawl. If he gets trained from here on with 'hit and don't get hit' modern day trainers he may be able to curtail his instincts, though I fear what's in your blood is in your blood. For me the one fight that showed all sides of Nigel Benn in the shortest fight was Anthony Logan, what a 2 round seesaw tear up that was !

Although I know its his first fight, I wasn't impressed.

I don't think he's got it in him to be honest with you.

To me, he's another Amir Khan. A knockout just waiting to happen

He wasn't banging very hard, head was high and he seemed overly excited.

    He looks better in sparring.

Garbage, only on the show because of his father. Some of that match room stable are no where near the required standard.

19yo first fight not bad, if he can be half as good as Christopher Eubank jr he will be a world champ one day

Very short amateur career, i know he only had 22 amateur bouts in Australia and makes his pro debut in front of 20,000 on a huge night for British boxing, wins by TKO inside a round and he is getting hammer?

I thought he handled the occasion well and all that went with it. I really don't know what some of you expect.

It seems like you want to see a polished, mature performance from what in boxing terms is a baby.
