He’s not a power punch with one shot power

Never was and never will be

He was 5-0(4) before the Bivol fight. Now he is riding a 6 fight decision streak.
Clearly he has lost a step, and is now unable to finish guys, even if he has them badly hurt.

But funnily, he has knocked down 4 of his last 6 opponents. He evidently has lots of power, but at the same time is not a KO puncher.

No, still solid wins. Did all of Haglers title defense victims continue winning or never get stopped? No. Canelo is a good 168lbs champ.

Sometimes cutting weight works against your true potential, it's a learning curve. Sheeraz is stronger and better at 168lbs.

    I stand by my statement

His 61.9% KO ratio is slightly above average

If he was 70% or more, I’d say he was a puncher

He made his bed. He really went after DLH at the presser, who was really embarrassed about it. Not only that but at the face off he doubled down on his inability to be stopped. It has all come undone for him. His confidence has to be shattered now.

Remember Callum Smiths arms?! They were severely damaged, lumped up! Canelo has power.

Canelo is possibly the most overrated boxer in history, whose career was built from his only elite trait, which is his granite chin, combined with gift decisions and avoiding stylistic risks. He lost clearly to GGG x 2, which he used to take his belts and then go on a run of second tier opponents. He lost every round against Bivol - a cherrypick gone wrong, yet somehow landed some close cards from the judges. At no stage in his career has he been close to the best boxer in the world.

No, i don't remember that.. Golovkin wasn't budged in the trilogy fight. He got marked up some in fight 2 though, and Canelo got a 2 inch cut over his eye and got rocked good in the 10th round, lets not forget that.

You don't want to remember that. I was referring to fight 2. Canelo took more punishment to give more punishment.

GGG got marked up from time to time, but yeah GGG was pushed to the limit by three inspired fighters, jacobs, Canelo, and Derevyanchenko, but i had him winning them.
