Saying a post is ridiculous is one thing, SHOWING that a post is ridiculous is another. You have done the first, but not the second.

I'll tell you why Bernard is the more skilled fighter: Bernard is the more technically sound fighter. Through proper technique, he minimizes the need to rely on physical prowress. Calzaghe, without his speed and is stamina is nothing but a slapping unorthodox fighter, hence the comparison with Sam Soliman. Fighters like Bernard age well, fighters like Calzaghe not so well. At the end of the day, proper technique wins over unorthodoxy.

Wooo! So ****ing what? Don't be a *****, dude. I've seen maybe 80-90% of his fights but until a few hours ago I hadn't seen the Winky fight. Now I have. And you call him a better fighter than Calzaghe? You're smoking crack my friend. The guy butted Winky in the second round and tried to jump on him to finish him off. Now, you can disagree all you want, but in my opinion, fighting dirty, headbutting and holding for most of the fight means the guy lacks boxing skills and has to make up for it by bending rules. Can you imagine Joe Calzaghe having to rely on dirty tactics to win against a blown up junior middle? As if he'd need to.

Laughable. And I don't need to "show it". You are a joke. Take away the dirty tactics from Hopkins and what do you have? **** all. "Proper technique" my ass. I guess you think Tyson biting Holyfield's ear off was proper technique? Or Holyfield's headbutts, too?

Fouling is not proper technique. End of story.

Last time I looked, Joe Calzaghe hadn't lost a fight. Bernard lost 4, so far.

PS: If anyone else needs a link to the fantastic display of boxing technique that was Bernard Hopkins' fight with Winky Wrong, PM me.

You know what's nice with boxing, its that when all the talk is over, the fists do the talking.

You're acting smart, throwing ad hominem bull**** at me without engaging my arguments... be it... when the fight is over I will have been right and you will have been wrong.

Be prepared to rely on fouls as excuses for Calzaghe's loss, because Bernard will foul Calzaghe like crazy and he won't get caught for it. And at the end of the day Calzaghe won't know what happened to him. He'll cry foul, but it'll be just that: crying. And you too my friend will be crying foul, and it'll be just that, again, CRYING.

Your hate for Clazaghe blinds you of the fact that BHops going to lose. You need to be objective noob, it's not necessarily your favourite fighter that wins it. It's the best that wins, and in this match up it's going to be JC.

Jonny come lately's? why is he so high in so many p4p rankings then? Manny steward said he should 2 or 3 after the kessler fight, espn has made him 2 on their new list.

It's not just british fans rating him it's anyone who knows the sport of boxing. His ability is there to see. All his fights that have been on tv in america he has been dominant over the new great hope of US boxing and a WBC WBA undefeated beast of a champion.
