I'll tell you why Bernard is the more skilled fighter: Bernard is the more technically sound fighter. Through proper technique, he minimizes the need to rely on physical prowress. Calzaghe, without his speed and is stamina is nothing but a slapping unorthodox fighter, hence the comparison with Sam Soliman. Fighters like Bernard age well, fighters like Calzaghe not so well. At the end of the day, proper technique wins over unorthodoxy.

You know what's nice with boxing, its that when all the talk is over, the fists do the talking. You're acting smart, throwing ad hominem bull**** at me without engaging my arguments... be it... when the fight is over I will have been right and you will have been wrong. Be prepared to rely on fouls as excuses for Calzaghe's loss, because Bernard will foul Calzaghe like crazy and he won't get caught for it. It's not just british fans rating him it's anyone who knows the sport of boxing. His ability is there to see.
