I'd be real surprised if Berto didn't get the nod from the judges, regardless of whether he deserves it. He's an HBO star boxer in the making, and a lot of money's being invested in his future. It will take a pretty decisive performance by Collazo for him to get the decision.
berto has a fairly weak chin i wouldnt be suprised if a saw a stoppage. or atleasta KD. think it will be a good competative fight though
yea, aggreed but its a class knockdown. and atlas it right when he sez as soon as he go 2 southpaw he landed that lol. but berto won like every round on the judges cards apart from this 1 anyway
Berto's speed will probably trouble Collazo, but I don't know how much. Collazo needs to keep Andre at the end of his jab and show a lot of movement or Berto will just let his hands go at will.
i believe alot of you are spot on with your predictions. Berto is indeed the younger/faster fighter and harder puncher. HOWEVER, because of his young age and the fact that he has faced only LIMITED opposition, i feel that he is still inexperienced, handing over one major factor to Collazo. Collazo has already been a champ, has faced experienced and battle tested fighters such as: Miguel Angel Gonzalez (WBC Lightweight champ from 92-95 and fought to a Draw with the great JCC) which he won by 8th round TKO, Jose Antonio Rivera (who he took the WBA welterweight strap from via SD), lost the fight to Ricky Hatton, which I honestly feel the fight was righteously Collazo's. Til this day, besides his loss to PBF, Ricky Hatton had never been as hurt as when he was rocked in the 12th round of their fight and Shane Mosley, who honestly, beat Collazo up. In order for Collazo to win, look for him to keep pumping his jab from the southpaw stance. That is the only way I see him keeping Berto at bay, by making him pay for coming in fast and strong. Also, Collazo is a slick boxer so he will need to keep moving and not stand in front of Berto and like Barneyg23 just showed us all..look for Collazo and his left uppercut..especially when Berto is coming in. I can easily see Collazo setting up with 2 or 3 jabs and then the uppercut. Collazo by UD. (unless they steal it from him like the Hatton fight.)

He does that from the outside and he loses. He's got to smother Berto and force him into awkward angles. The one useful thing I got out of rewatching Berto - Forbes was seeing that Berto doesn't really want to work on the inside. If Collazo can get there and stay there turning short hooks, he has a chance to win some rounds. On the outside or at midrange, he gives Berto too many chances to dictate with speed.
