This would actually be competitive. Berto has terrible footwork, but Malinaggi has no punch. Realisticaly though, Berto... I read that Malinaggi said that h used to go out with a group of guys and jump unsuspecting kids and steal all their ****... That's a ****in punk move and as much as Berto is failing to live up to expectations and not making any improvements, I've never heard of him pullin some punk ****.
I think Berto. If Mallignaggi has powder punches at 140 then I dont think he could really compete against the top 147'ers. He's not a bad boxer, fast and skillfull but he was so so poor against Hatton and his previous (was it N'Dou) that I think he'd really struggle at Welter
Berto will probably hunt Malinaggi down, taking a lot of punches to do it, but I don't think Malinaggi will phase him.

you cant under-rate paulie's toughness though... he danced with migeul for 10 rounds with a broken eye socket..
I don't think Malignaggi is in any position to get an HBO fight against Berto. He's not even going to beat Mike Alvarado on 6/27, most likely.
