Completely agree Arcane. The last time the greatest fighter of his generation would be headlining an episode of 24/7 and the beginning of the utterly disgraceful Pacquiao-Mayweather dance.

What's sad is that 2 of his last 3 fights ended up being an act of passing the torch on to the next generation of fighters who would push boxing forward, Bronzeboy Mayweather and Nomedalatallboy Pacquiao who have both failed in carrying on the big fight legacy Oscar left them.

Couldn't have put it better myself Arcane. Like being presented with a beautiful platter of Caviars and then shoving it all up your arse.

They all just serve to show how verbose, eloquent language, coupled with the right music, and editing, can make pretty much every fight look like it's the most epic fight in the world.

I used to love that shyt, though! But now it's just kinda played out. . . Schreiber's scripted voice. . . Enter the music. . . Too much over-dramatization. . . Just show us their training regimens, and interview them about the fight. . Spend maybe a few minutes on personal aspects of their lives. . .

The people who mainly enjoy it now are Floyd nuthuggers who love to hear act like a Jersey shore douche knuckle. . . The feminine type, who probably watch reality TV shows. . .

The show it **** now, no doubt but the earlier one's did used to be good with the epic buildup.

    agree. . . I'd say actually after Marquez/Mayweather it lost its luster. . .

Although I did find Margarito/Cotto II a little bit refreshing. . . The backstory there really was crucial. . And with the passing of Cotto's dad - I did find that little segment to be good, because it felt so real.

Didn't Audley Harrison win a Gold medal? :think

Goes to show that an olympic gold isn't everything. DLH lost most of his big fights, so the legacy he left was similar to Glen Johnson: "I'm not the best there is, I just fight the best" (quote was sort of that but might no be exact)
