Robinson never directly fought at light welterweight as far as i'm aware but did come into a lot of his earlier fights in career up to about 1942 in and around the 140lb limit. I'm pretty sure he was 140 when he fought zivic the 1st time.

Possibly, however i think a prime duran of between the de jesus 3 and palomino fight who could have fought at 140 would have taken a pre prime robinson or at least given him a hell of a run for his money.

TBH i wouldn't really include those in the discussion, sure they weighed in and around the mark but they where never really competing at 140. H2H duran, robinson, whitaker etc are monsters at the weight but the best 140lb should be someone who fought there for a decent period of time IMO.

    I side with pryor

Pryor is probably my top pick or maybe Pea

Pea again i don't think did enough at 140 to be rated there, he only really beat pineda there. Sure he is a monster there h2h but achievement wise not enough for me

mine personally would be pryor, then whitaker then chavez, although chavez probably level with benitez.

hard for still to put whitaker second but pryor pips it at 140
