Just me, but I can’t have this list without Frazier, De La Hoya, and Gerry Cooney. Can’t go wrong with any of the others I’ve seen in the thread previously.

Holyfield’s left hook to the body was underrated but a thing of vicious beauty

Got to disagree with this. Cooper actually ko'ed Ali
for a couple seconds. It's on film, his eyes were
glazed over. It's just a testament to Ali's toughness
and instincts to get up, and the luck of it coming at the end of the round,
plus brilliant stalling tactics by Dundee. That saved the day.
I'm one Ali's biggest fans. But Cooper hurt him bad.
Also Ali's clowning and trying to extend the fight to
the round he picked to stop Cooper factors in.

The stalling tactics didn't amount to anything worth mentioning. The smelling salts ,applied illegally under his nose and covered with a hand towel were another matter.
Actually I think he was more in danger of being kod in the 11th rd in FOTC.

That's interesting to read about the smelling salts. And I totally agree about the inconsequential effect of any stalling.

This end of round has so many myths about it that can be dispelled by simply watching the video. There is no huge delay between the round and you don't see anyone scurrying off to fetch a new pair of gloves.

It reminds me of the Warren Commission stating Kennedy was shot from behind. They had their story straight and nobody questioning it then all those years later - whoops-a-daisy - the Zapruder film comes along and the official account has to explain why being shot from behind makes JFK's head explode on the right side and rock back to his left. Hell of a shot from behind, that.

Similarly, the myth that Ali's glove had to be replaced by some dastardly picking by Dundee can surely be laid to rest by simply watching the fight on youtube, something that those who have purported that story hadn't legislated for.

I see Frazier, Morrison (really?) and a lot of other heavies when there’s probably two bakers dozens worth of guys under welter who were better and over half of them most likely Mexican lol.

A real fat left hook I liked not the best just awesome was the leaping one D1ck Tiger threw. Fighting Harada used to throw his left hook consecutively rapid fire style in really cool ways, again not the best just had the cool factor. Carlos Monzon used his really well very versatile with it and clean.
