What would you guys consider the best rematch ever? I was thinking that a lot of times the first fight seems to be better than the rematch, so I got to thinking what rematches (3rd fights included) have lived up to the hype?

Morales-MAB comes to mind for me for a good one, and Bowe-Holyfield

Marquez vs Vasquez II was incredible, thinking of recent rematches.

    Better IMO than:

    Gatti vs Ward II
    Corrales vs Castillo II
    Barrera vs Morrales II

Can't believe I overlooked Vasquez-Marquez II, i guess you miss things right under your nose. I guess I was thinking more historically, but that is definitely an awesome choice.

The 3rd fight was much better than the 2nd.

Tyson-Holyfield 2 ...perhaps the most infamous anyways.

The 3rd and especially 2nd match in Gatti-Ward weren't all that great.

The first one is far better than the other 2.

That's the answer that jumped to mind for me.

One of the most dramatic fights ever, despite the anti-climatic ending.
