#1 Hagler is an ATG, show some respect. #2 Hagler would come into fights at 156 sometimes because they used to have same day weigh ins back then. JC would have been a light heavy and Hagler was probably the last legit 160lb champ, so the size difference would have been HUGE. If JC beats him it sure doesn't mean he's the "greater" fighter.

the commentary in that round is awful, they act like ndou is making a comeback on the ropes when he lands MAYBE like 2 clean shots that have no obvious effect. The irony is that big george is calling the action. You think he at the very least would realize whats happening there after ali did the exact same thing to him.
Yep, ended up being a good performance, admittedly over an over hyped fighter. But I also know why the Lacy fight was postponed supposedly for an injured hand, but I digress.
thats because Lacey was a joke. Hagler, although yielding 18 pounds of natural weight, would still KO Calzaghe early and comfortably once he properly put on some extra muscle mass. Dont forget the gulf of difference between Hag and Cal - Marvin was an undisputed champ in a fullfledged division who crushed everyone in his reign, not a minor title holder cherrypicker in a vacant division who struggled against middling men whilst waited till the best were old men. Marvin would even take RJJ! Hagler v Roy Jones would have one of the greatest rounds, Marvellous would force Roy to move up two gears and you would get to see Jones fighting at his absolute best to ward off Hag's attacks.
