Guys who always seemed to make it to the final bell no matter who was in there. The idea is to try and figure out who had the best resume of these sorts I will give you an example. X survived prime Chacon, Arguello, Pryor, Tszyu ect he lost them all but made it to the final bell. and thats what matters.
Marion Wilson is a guy I think should be put forth. 12-41-4 with zero stoppage losses. Oliver McCall x2 (One DQ) Samuel Peters Hashim Rahman Corey Sanders (Win) Ike Ibeabuchi Andrew Golota x2 Ray Mercer (SD draw) Pretty scary line up for a relatively small HW. I think I am probably missing some guys to.
James Toney comes to mind. Sure you could outshutle him but no one ever KIed him after a 30 year career.
Arturo Leon was pretty amazing. Leon was a lightweight who fought from 1973 to 1983. In a 61 bout career he was knocked out by Cornelius Boza-Edwards and someone named Steve Romero but the role call of those who did not stop Leon is quite impressive. He went the distance with Jimmy Heair (Thrice), Randy Shields, Bobby Chacon (Twice), Alexis Arguello, Hilmer Kenty, Sean O'Grady, Rolando Navarette, Cubanito Perez, Roger Mayweather and Joe Louis Manley. I see by the time I was done typing, scartissue had already named Leon. Well done.
