    This means it won’t be in the UK unfortunately. Hopefully Smith takes the fight unlike Buatsi. Would end up on Sky in the early hours of the morning.

    Seems suspicious Too Rank outbidding Matchroom by such a small amount…

    Atleast Callum Smith got in the ring against Canelo. Bumatsi wouldn’t have even have turned up.

    Does anyone think Bumatsi would take this fight? He didn’t even take the Bivol fight for £1m or take a sizeable sum to face Jean Pascal.

    You very probably get it in Montreal at 5AM instead of Liverpool or Manchester at 11PM - in reality this means most of us won’t watch it live. Loss of Bellew can’t make up for that.

    If Top Rank decide to co-promote with a UK promoter over here then fantastic. Otherwise I’m sorry Matchroom lost.

    Indeed. I love Beterbiev, he’s superb but I think Smith can hurt him.

    Would you still forgive if he wears his shorts with ‘**** the tories’ on the front and ‘Maggie’s in the mud’ on the back?

    I’ve also heard his brothers are also going to walk out with a banner displaying a pic of the royals that reads….. ‘Down with this sort of thing’

    Hope this fight happens. Based on the Yarde fight, it is a fight Smith can win.

    Im not saying he will win but it’s a good fight and would be nice to see what he can do at this level at 175
