Just got into Houston, TX travelled today from New Orleans. If my alarm went off at 4am for a fight I would never be able to get up!! That last fight was good, Murdoch eating shots like a prime Gatti!
Amazing cities! Yeah I just skimmed a few pages in the general and they all thought it was a great fight.
New Orleans is wild down at the French quarter but you got to keep your wits about you, overall it’s a dive really dangerous place. Houston is great, downtown is awesome really trendy. I’m in a fancy hotel tonight in the woodlands area only because they guy I’m working with lives here and is picking me up in the morning to head to Galveston to fly offshore Monday. Usually my company puts me in the cheapest hotels on booking.com. Southern (red) states are always the best in USA, places like Seattle and California are full of pond life and filthy. Same with Vancouver, Canada it’s a stunning city but you wouldn’t believe the homeless and drug use (all decriminalized), people shooting up on the street in broad daylight everywhere you look! Stick with Texas, Florida, Louisiana and you can’t go too far wrong.
I'm with you 100% regarding the confederate states. I always ask the missus if she fancies going to the US for our holiday but it's always a resounding no. Got her to go to Florida with me though before the kids were born but yeah I really want to go to Texas especially Rent a car and just drive.
