Thompson is 43 y/o and has had 2 title shots already. To the casual, Shannon Briggs would be a more worthy opponent. Essentially this title shot was SUPPOSED to be Arreolas. But he blew it. It was supposed to be Szpilkas, but he passed it up. Let's just be thankful that Wilder's not fighting a china chinned plodder like Molina, and that Duhaupas, while not a world beater, is still a far better fighter than Stiverne or Molina. funny that u mentioned several cruisers. that division is so good right now I would favor many top 10 cruisers over top 10 heavies. They punch hard are quicker and better conditioned. aside from the super hw fighter's they pose many problems. This content is protected
