lew jenkins may have had a weak chin.he was definitely a banger though and some of inside the ditance losses are put down to not having trained.
Some people rate his chin as weak I dont. WHen he fought Thomas Tate he took some big shots from a good puncher without ever going down. In other fights though he did get hurt a few times and kod,but his defense wasnt the best either. Id say id rate his chin average. I read once where he was knocked out by a line drive in a softball game though,but thats a pretty devastating blow ,especially if you dont see it coming.

Olivares didnt have a bad chin:nono When castillo stopped him it was on cuts and the other ko losses were against bombers or he was past his prime or hungover Seriously!! If you watch some of his fights he could take a punch not the greates but at least average.
Mate ive watched many of his fights and in most of them he has to get up of the floor to win and most of his losses are by Ko although that could also be caused by his sometimes lack of dedication and too much partying. But i agree i think average chin is fair.
Mugabi showed a good chin against Hagler. Even before that he survived good shots was only rocked by Hard Rock Greene.. However after that you are right his chin was glass.
