whats your choice for biggest upset of the year?

mine would be "baby face" garcia getting out boxed by then 39 year old troy browning. browning just seemed to seem nervous and jabbed and moved frustrated him....and then boom garcia seemed to stop throwing anything of significence just a lazy jab and a rare left hook and as right hand.

while browning just seemed to pounce upon the opertunity. and won the rest of the rounds.

    happy day:D

Yup. Especially considering the fashion the upset happened. Vic had displayed a rock solid chin. Then seemingly out of nowhere he gets outclassed and KO'd by somehwat of an unknown.

Donaire vs. Darchinyan is my second pick. My first goes to Julio Cesar Garcia vs. Troy Browning.

There weren't even odds on this fight. Browning was over 40 years old and had been coming off nearly a decade long layoff. This was virtually a fight to get Garcia exposure on national television and a so-called easy fight to make him look good.

Very shocking upset, even if it was a less than stellar fight.

    ?

if you are trying for the "boxing is gonna die" thing:| :| :| :|
    boo-hoo-to-you-to

anyways an upset is usually a low rated boxer beats a high rated boxer.
so if we are talking of world class that means that ~(suppose)~kessler beating joe calzaghe is that a bigger upset than world ranked garcia gets numbed by a 8 year retired 40 year old...who never made any noise before that....:huh so prey tell which?

For me it's gotta be Pavlik-Miranda, I thought it was going to be another road kill of some unknown for Miranda and i was shocked to see him KO'D, i was also shocked to see Pavlik KO Jermain aswell but that wasn't as much of an upset because by then Pavlik was recognised as a threat.
