Its not a "economically viable" fight according to Billy's team whereas Chris John is.
Also they say John has the WBA title, whereas Asiku only has the "IBO" belt.
Dib feels he is in a position to make demands to the world title holders, well maybe he should either get some serious financial clout as in many hundreds of thousands (doubtful) or start fighting half decent boxers & do it the old fashion way (earn the shot) instead of feasting on the local malnourished taxi driver from Thailand.:yep

He wont fight Jackson because Jackson would bash him and Billy Knows it . If he thinks his a chance against Chris he's dreaming chris would win every round and do it easy. If They want to pay Chris what he earns for a defence, yes sir we will take the fight please pay us the money and you have the fight Billy. EASY MONEY

Agreed CC. Dont think Dib would get past Asiku. close fight, but unless Dib pays the judges (a la the Marali fight) the decision will go to Jackson.

I know its probably none of my Business but what sort of money would Chris be looking at. I agree it's fine saying you want to fight someone but unless you have the money and some sort of ranking you just talking S#it

Lets see Dib pull out the many hundreds of thousands of $$$, otherwise get in line & do it the old fashioned "hard work" route.

Asiku is a bum who won a world championship only to call out a contender. If Asiku is a "champion" he should be fighting other champions.

a bit harsh isn't it. Plenty of world champions defend against non world champions. There would be a heap more fights between a champ and a challenger then between 2 champions. Billy has a title so shouldn't be a problem

Incidentally, what has Asiku done since winning the title? I had heard he had signed with Shaw promotions or something like that. Has he had a defence of the belt yet? Also, would be interested to know the sort of money John or even Asiku would be expecting. I'd imagine Asiku would be a much (with respect) cheaper alternative.
