has anyone heard what is going on with billy joe? haven't heard much about him lately. i thought his first couple of fights he looked impressive and would carve out a good career but his last couple of fights he didn't look as good. what are your thoughts on how far he could go?
Had a hand injury early in the year which kept him out until the Upton Park show and think he did it again during that fight. Hope this can get nipped in the bud early coz with his aggresive style brittle hands means biiiiiiiiiig trouble. Think he's got huge potential, some good body shots and will be very entertaining. Stifles his work too much though needs to step back some times and pick his shots better
yeh had hand problems. clearly needs to get his weight down, did you see jamie moores column about him?
I would like to see him in a Southern Area or English 154 fight before the End of the year. Andrew Facey would take him 10 hard rounds.
think saunders is good but lacks the power for his style and if he cant make 154 he is strugglling at domestic level, imo hes a poor mans jamie moore and wouldnt beat andrew facey right now
Last time i saw him was a month ago in Essex at the Indee Rose Trust event, i spoke to him and he still got his hand in a splint type thing, he said he not sure yet, but he cant do anything till he sorted his hand out. G
