Billy Dib has left Johnny Lewis and is now trained by Billy Hussein. Has his next fight in Feb against Davey Brown. I think it might be on the Mundine card.

Dib will be a little more fan friendly under Hussein.

This is good news all around...Billy Huss will take over reigns when the older guard give it in.

Brown vs Dib should be an interesting boxing match...it will probably bore most people to tears but it should be a good tussle.

Smart move if he is going to be based out of Australia and he will have some great gym sparring.
Tough fight to call against Davey I personally don't like watching Dib all show no go hopefully Davey pushes something special out of him.

Johnny seems to lose a fair few fighters after having them for short periods, and those fighters rarely improve under his guidence.

Doesnt confirm my belief he's overrated, but it sure helps.

Johnny Lewis is still part of the team. I guess Billy H will do alot of the hands on training which will be a bonus for Dib.

I spose as johnny gets a bit older he will probably decrease his hands on training, he would still be a good mind to have on your team i think

A good move for Billy D. he worked well with Lewis, but I think he may get a bit more of the 'boxing' with Billy H. I would be hopeful that Johnny lewis is still involved in some way, you can't beat experience. Looking forward to the Browne fight.

I have been informed by a close source that this information is incorrect and Johnny Lewis is still Billy Dib's head trainer. Billy Hussein is giving Billy a helping hand while Johnny Lewis is on holidays!

Personally i don't think Lewis is a good trainer for Dib at all. Dib needs someone who can teach him to be unorthadox, to utilise angles, to be very slick.

Lewis would be a lot more orthadox in his approach i imagine, and has had most success training tough swarming fighters like Harding and Fenech.

He would be much more suited to training a guy like Katsidis IMO.

    great move in my opinion.
Billy H is in the top 3 trainers in oz and will bring out the best in Dibb
