How under-rated is he as a trainer?

If Ricky was with Billy he would of won tonight. His sparring was shocking. firstly he shouldn't have been fighting a southpaw and 2ndly if that was the only fight available he should of been sparring with more similar southpaws

Billy gets some stick on here, unjustified a lot of it. It will be interesting to hear what he made of Burns performance tonight. Burns v Crolla is a massive fight for me if it can be made.

He's not the best but sparring guys nothing like what he's fighting is silly.

The rot set in for Burns WHILST Billy was training him. He had a run of three AWFUL performances (Gonzalez, Beltran and Crawford).

    They were all shite.

That said I've always thought he worked miracles getting Ricky a title in the first place as he is clearly just beneath world class level.
