Bivol vs Beterbiev

Who you got now?

For me, I think Beterbiev will need to set a faster pace than before to win. He may be past his prime.

 

Beterbiev hits some much harder than anyone else at the weight and is actually an underrated boxer.

 

I voted Bivol.
Beterbiev is a solid boxer-puncher, a bit flat footed and stiff, but with HW power.
Always bet on skills and youth though and Bivol got these

 

Beterbiev is not Ramirez...built different,skillz and all.

 

I got Bivol there, Beterbiev is no southpaw, but yes, he got much more power and skills then Ramirez. Nonetheless I don'r Beterbiev will be able to place his shots right against Bivol.

Maybe 8-4 or 7-5.

It’s really a 50/50f fight but Beterbiev isn’t getting any younger do slightly favor Bivol.

 

Beterbiev is going to be nearly 39 by the time they fight (assuming it happens mid-late next year). Bivol beats him I think.

 

Beterbiev is too slow and flat footed. Bivol will pot-shot him and dance around him. If he can take a few power punches, which we know he can, he'll beat him.

 

A true 50-50 fight. I like both Beterbiev and Bivol and it's hard to tell. Betting against Betterbiev is just some form of suicide. The guy is an absolutely monster. But then you have elite skills of Bivol, and betting on him is not a good look as well.
I just hope the fight happen next year. But knowing who is Beterbiev promoter ..... I'm kinda skeptical.

 

Beterbiev is getting old and was quite inactive for some time.. I believe Bivol would get the win

Who has he fought that's on Bivol's level though? Think about that. NO ONE. Bivol is too smart and too skillful for Beterbiev. Bivol will not be a sitting duck for his punches, I guarantee you. He'll counter him all night and Beterbiev will be tired from missing Bivol as well. Beterbiev could catch him a few times, but not enough to really hurt him, Bivol is too strong and too slick to get knocked out.

 

This fight better happen soon before Old Father Time catches up to Beterbiev. I can see two scenarios at the moment…Bivol by UD or Beterbiev by stoppage or KO. But as much as I like Beterbiev…and I prefer him to Bivol in terms of favouritism…I acknowledge Bivol is a highly skilled operator who is quite difficult to hit clean.
My head is leaning to a Bivol points win, but my heart says Big Artur could KO him at any point during the fight.
