I haven't seen NBCSP until last night's Adamek/Chambers fight and I could not believe how godawful Flores was for a guy who usually seems very bright and insightful. Is this the norm? Examples:

-Repeatedly saying " I don't recall ever seeing a heavyweight who fights like Chambers" Uh, scrape the recesses of your memory banks and come up with...Chris Byrd.

-Calling Roger Bloodworth Roger Moore. 007 is in the house.

-Not being able to figure out the severity of Chambers injury--calling it a "muscle strain," even though he clearly looked down at the bicep in round one and never threw another right hand. Also, giving the layman pretty much zero possible strategies that Chambers might employ seeing how he was a one-handed fighter.

-In round 7 or 8 saying "I'd love to have seen Chambers throw a left hand there" Really? Then and about 150 other times before then.

-Saying "we're entering the championship rounds--10,11, and 12" That would be 11 and 12.

Those are just a few. Maybe I'm nitpicking, but I really thought the commentary was very, very poor in what was a bit of a dramatic fight considering Chambers' injury and the close rounds.

I am not sure I agree with all of your criticisms. But I do agree that he was awful. Adamek convincingly won the fight and the scorecards reflected that.

BJ sucks as a commentator... However, Im glad that an ex-boxer is doing commentating.

Bad Ex boxer > Good armchair boxer

BJ Flores is a blind stupid ******. His facial expressions, his dumb opinions, and just overall bad calling and scoring...Geez this guy is a knob!

He was a good unbiased commentator, he just saw the fight for Chambers, as did most of us.

He sucks and doesn't even bother to hide his biais. But the whole NBC crew sucks so he perfectly fits in. The way he tries to sell the public his featherfisted butt buddy Jenning is beyond pathetic.

It was hard to watch the fight because of the praise he was giving chambers . Adamek would make him miss but flores would say he was landing . I now hate flores . And to the person who started this post chambers hurt his left and was primarly using his right

    Like i said last night.

A fighter who ducked Adamek should not commentate his fights.

    BJ was terrible last night.
