    Sup players!

So i got a new lightweight competition Gi the other day and i'm really happy with it :D

I didn't want to spend a lot as i'm not that keen on white Gi's so i went for one of the Tuff Lightweight Gi's as the reviews are really good.

Any good? How is the fit and weight? Do other players find it easy to take the lapel?

The fit is solid and its very light weight. No guys dont have an easy time grabbing any part of my GI. Its a pretty good GI I dont really have any problems with it besides from the fact that the waist is kind of wide and no matter how you pull on the strings on tie its still a loss fit at the waist which is never a good then in Jiujitsu. That is the exact GI.

Funny you should bring up Breakpoint, I'd never heard of them until I saw this one and liked the look of it I ordered it and had a roll in it last night for the first time. It's actually really lightweight and super comfortable to roll in. The only concern I've got is that the sleeves are a little wider than I'm used to. I haven't washed it yet, so I don't know about the shrinkage factor.

I've actually got three Warrior Gi's (an Australian brand), and they're phenomenal, even if the patches look a bit gay. I've got the slightly heavier ones, because I'm not competing in them and they are comfortable as hell and they have nice long lapels to choke people with.

Gracie Barra schools have a pretty strict uniform policy, we all have to wear GB uniforms. It's pretty much a money grab but the good thing is it puts everybody on a level playing field...no showboating expensive gi's. I have a regular GB gi and a comp gi, the pic below is the comp gi, lightweight, pretty comfy but the lapels are kind thin and flimsy but I guess that just means you have to rely on technique too defend chokes!
