You’re right sorry. It was Gary O’sullivan For the vacant WBO international middleweight title. The rest still stands though.

Who cares about a WBO international belt?

The only title that matters so far in his resume is the WBO Middleweight championship and he beat a champion to get it so your post is complete nonsense

Just an observation that it's a similar record. Nothing to get wound up about.

For those with more insight into the financial workings of the sport, will he be pulling in more £££ for this fight than 25% of the Andrade match ?

Was anyone calling Canelo a ducker when he went up in weight and fought Fielding? The evidence in his next fight (Jacobs) just shows that he was grabbing an opportunity with a relatively easy fight. Judge BJS on his next fight, if it’s underwhelming then he deserves to be slated. Every single one of us would do what he’s doing right now. Andrade might fancy the opportunity to become a 3 weight world champion if he and BJS signed to fight and Saunders won’t have to take the 25% at 160. It’s all about opening new doors.

I did say “blame the sanctioning body”. Saunders is just doing what almost every fighter would do. The opportunities have been laid out on a plate and he’s taken what is probably head and shoulders the best one.

    Some of theses replies
Its like a lot of you ain't interested in competitive fights ffs

    Billy over weight his problem
He should have been in training chomping at the bit to set the record straight
Time waits for no man so let the excuses flow freely
Prove the doubters wrong or leave them to sling shyte ones way
Faild drug test looking like he did to go back to the same old bjs carrying weight back to stripping down easy tune up fights
His fans keep making excuses whilst he's un motivated with out what ever it were brought him in the best shape ever last time out

BJS has only ever made 160 lbs 'properly' and that was when he schooled Lemeuix and lets not all be naive he was on the 'NASAL SPRAY' which is the reason why Andrades team requested VADA...

BJS will never make 160 lb and fight the way he did that night ever again.certainly not without the liquid ephedrine Ingle was putting up his hooter...it was a complete 1 off and if im not mistaken his first or second fight under Ingle..He actually weighed in at 178 for his last 'fight ' ffs...

I am assuming BJS will be under the testers spotlight more now so a move up in weight was always coming imo

Twas a joke because of I f Eddie Hearn pulled this stunt then some of the people defending this fight would be going ape and slaughtering matchroom and accusing anyone who disagreed with them of beingmatchroom shills bots etc.

I find the concept of any promoter paying the idiots who post here preposterous and was being facetious

With respect to my fellow non-MR shill posters like Cutthroat and Nasal, but I stand by what I posted when he got "injured" against Murray. You can stick a fork in BJS, he's done. I'd love to see another Brit make world boxing headlines but you can see the pattern here with him clear as day.

There's not going to be any big MSG or Vegas fights, no sensational comebacks ala Fury, he's had chance after chance to prove he's this amazing prodigious talent and soundly pissed away each one. Behaviour like that rarely changes in people. Promoters and fighters are rightly wary of him because he has a proven track record of pulling out of fights for whatever reason.

All there's going to be are repeats of what we've seen the last 18 months from him. He can't make MW and the SMW div is hardly setting the world on fire. Given his age he's in the latter stage of his pro-boxing career now. It's a shame but he seems to have a massive sense of entitlement which I can only assume originates from being told he's amazing by every gym-rat he's ever met. Coupled with an extremely cynical view of gaming the system to shortcut his way right to the top.

    Which hasn't worked.
