I would still like to see this fight and i think Jacobs would win ....He was class last night,no idea how the cards were so close.
I had Derevyanchenko winning 114-113. I thought it was a very good, close fight and have no issues with Jacobs getting the W though. As for Jacobs v BJS I think it's another good, competitive match up I slightly lean towards BJS UD.
just HOW could you have him winning?....He was like a poor GGG just plowing in and hoping for the best...i thought Jacobs won by a stretch
He did some very good work especially in the second half of the fight, I thought Jacobs was very efficient at nullifying him at times but could have done with being more active. Plus I watched the HBO match and I thought the commentary was very pro Jacobs and a lot of Derevyanchenko's own good work was being overlooked. I had it 6-6 going into r12 which I thought Derevyanchenko clearly won.
I have started watching boxing without commentary for top fights...All i saw was Jacobs picking him off with far better boxing skills..i also understand your view of liking aggression ....apples and oranges innit
I thought Jacobs won by a few rounds. I also thought his power was the difference. Jacobs fought the way he wanted to fight for most part. Derevyanchenko was getting picked off at range and was missing too many shots as well as getting countered when he got close. Derevyanchenko didn't really move Jacobs when he landed clean but Jacobs was visibly shaking him up when he landed. If Derevyanchenko could hit harder he probably would have won. It was true he only has power in 1 hand and even then it wasn't terrific.
Jacobs probably stops him Now BJS will be off the juice he'll be back to gassing after 6 rounds. I think Lemieux probably stops him late in a rematch tbh
This may be going against the grain but styles make fights and I think Jacobs would probably beat BJS. Weirdly I think BJS has a better chance vs GGG and Canelo due to styles.
He broke the contract and lost the opportunity to fight Andrade, but he didn’t break any rules according to the other anti doping associations or the BBBofC. So whatever he was doing whether it was juicing or simply clearing his nose, he’ll still be the same fighter should he put the 100% in. Personally, I think he beats anyone at 160.
Ha I see I've confused myself. I meant 6-5 to Derevyanchenko, but a draw going into it with the knockdown.
