FFS he's got the belt for keeps no reason to keep fighting for it when you are mandatory for a world title, hope this is a glorified keep busy fight or he will end up like gavin

I'd say it's a gd competitive stay busy fight and exactly what BJS needs b4 fighting for the world title

Am I reading this correctly? Very surprised to hear this.
High risk for BJS. But that said a speedster like BJS is the worst type of opponent for Blackwell who if he lacks anything, its speed.

Nick cant seem to catch a break - every 'big fight' he gets is very very tough.

BJS won their first fight by a wide points margin, but Nick finished like a train. Be interesting if Nick has improved sufficiently to not let Joe build up a big lead next time.
If Blackwell can keep it close over the first half, his toughness, improved technique and engine could carry him to victory!

I have my doubts that this goes ahead- does Billy need the British Title at this stage? If the Lee fight happens in the first half of this year then when does Frank slot this in?

As for the promoter clearly if it does go ahead it'll be on Boxnation as Hennessey is effectively Frank's number two now. Which is a shame because it would be a fantastic fight for Channel Five and a wider audience.

'Following agreement being reached between the parties'

Discussions had taken place between Frank and Mick before this announcement. I thought that would be plainly obvious.

WellI think Billy Joe should win again in another tough fight. They probably don't fancyLee right away if this is the case.

I could tell from the last recent interviews with FW that the Lee fight had hit a snag or was being pushed back a bit as agreed by both camps...hopefully it's the later as it was quite pleasing for me to see Waarren and booth working together to create big fights and opportunities for the fighters- would be good for this to be on Lee's undercard .

Booth wants Lee to make an easy home defence.

    Saunders beats Lee.

I think so too. Giving Lee a very winnable defence will give him a good payday and boost his name more ready for the BJS fight.
