    I don't feel sorry for Tony. He made 750,000. To where the guys that have busted their ass for years and don't even come close to that in the UFC is who I feel sorry for.

    Dana White wasn't initially interested in this fight at all. NOT AT ALL. He blew off Toney's offers to fight in the UFC on numerous occasions. It was Toney's relentless persistence and smack talk however that finally lured White in. Toney at one point even threatened to chase Dana down at his home if he didn't get a fight. It's a misconception to believe that White had some kind of alterior motives here. James Toney simply nagged his way in to this beatdown. Can you imagine what boxing fans and Toney wouyld be saying if Dana didn't give him the fight? "Oh, MMA guys are scared, they're ducking me". I mean, he got whooped and he's still saying that Couture was scared even though Randy wanted this fight bad from the start.
