There's a conspiracy going around that Fury's team purposely cut Fury to dodge the Usyk fight.

Has this ever happened during bouts to relieve swelling like in the Rocky movies, sounds absurd to me.

I saw a picture of the cut and its pretty nasty. I dont think it was planned by his team but I would like to see exactly how it happened.

Joe calzaghe and Hector Camacho both used to slice themselves with razorblades in between rounds to relieve swelling. The commissions started getting on them because people were worried about HIV and AIDS and they eventually stopped the practice altogether.
I cant think of any other recent fighters that have adopted this technique...may be Wayne McCullough back in the day but that's about it

So according to your post... blood only exist in a boxing match when the corner men slice there own guy so he could bleed out a swelling?

God forbid that anyone bleeds from an actual punch in boxing.
    Troll.

What are you talking about? He never said blood doesn't come from punches.. He just said those two fighters cut their swolen eyes to relieve the pressure of the swelling??

The poster wrote that the comission stop letting the corner's to cut their fighters because the commission was worried sbout hiv and aids.

That makes no sense if fighters are bleeding from punches all the time.

In other words blood is blood and doesent matter if it comes from a punch or a forced cut in the corner.
