Just reading about him talking about the Mosley/Pacquiao fight is absolutely disgraceful. I know you can argue that Pacquiao should put his foot down, but we know he isn't like that. he'll fight whoever Arum wants him too and that's obviously Mosley. It isn't just the Mosley fight though, it's the Caballero fight for JuanMa and now JuanMa/Gamboa. Then there's talk of Cotto and Margarito fighting Top Rank fighters and, if they win, they'll fight each other. The winner will then face Pacquiao. It's a disgrace. He's got boxing fans over a barrel and has absolutely no intention of giving us, the fans who make him rich, the fights we want to see.

I understand peoples frustrations but the fighters aren't to blame. All the talk of Pacquiao or JuanMa picking soft opponents is bull****. They would fight anyone, any time. The issue is Arum whose greed seems to be growing as the days on his promoting career come to an end. He isn't looking out for the future of boxing because he's greedy. He is a cancer in the sport and the reason why many excellent fights have not yet happened.

As a promoter, I have nothing but respect for him. He's made a career of doing good things for boxing but in the last year or two, he's done things which are indefensible. In the future, he will continue to do the same.

emmanuel has to take responsiblity for his career sooner or later. This is a 31 soon to be 32 year old man you're talking about. He's in charge of running a province for ****s sake.

Arum is the future of boxing even at his grand old age.

If pac cant put his foot down to at least try and navigate his career the way he wants it then it goes ot show the philipine people are imbeciles as they voted for a high school drop out who is barely educated and cant speak up for himself.

You do know that he plays stupid and keeps his mouth shut, so no one will hate him? Fightfans don't like prizefighters who are honest about their boxing being a business. Even someone like Sugar Ray Robinson received **** for this.

He aint a bright spark but he does know when to open and close his mouth just like arum taught him. Eve n when questioned by a tv host or being interviewed by someone else you can see his ass thinkin how to respond to the question in the least effective way ever, and it isnt because english is his second language as he understand that preety well.

pacquiao isn't dumb, if he was white americans wouldn't love him.

  9. Arum is a greedy man. Arum knows money. Pacquiao spent millions of his own money on his political campaign and is known to be an equally generous person towards friends and strangers alike. Arum brings Pacquiao the big bucks. I don't fault him one bit for fighting whoever they put in front of him.

Mayweather and Oscar have done fine without Arum. An up and coming boxer would need a promoter like Arum at first, but it isn't really necessary anymore

He has always been arums puppet over time instead of becoming his own man he has become more obedient.

What is your personal stance on this issue?
