Big BOB MIROVIC is back in august fighting HOPPA in WOLONGONG for the aussie title is now being trained by former oz champ ALLAN LUXFORD.
goodluck to big bob, but i dont think his chances have improved any great deal and i dont think hes got anything to really beat hoppa, except this time will be more experienced and ready to make bob pay earlier...
Man bobs been in some wars in his career.I dont think him suffereing anymore highlight reel ko's at his age is good for anyone let alone big Bob.
the problem for Bob is that he has nothing after boxing. Having said that, he should still get out now, while he still has a life to enjoy.
But the thing that makes aus a lucky country topp is that no matter how uneducated/unqualifed a person is, they should be able to rustle up 500 a week working 40 hours, he could get a job on the council and he would probably be earing more then what his fight purses and sponsorship average out at, Theres absolutely no point sticking around or he will get sparked hard and suffer complications
Bob's actually a qualified Fitter, just that he hasn't worked in it for a while. He's just taken over at a PCYC on the Central Coast so maybe he can make something happen there training the local businessmen
Hope he's got some viable alternatives, as it would be good to see him go out in reasonable nick, not prolong it and perhaps suffer later.
