Quarry has the versatility to beat Bonavena - if he keeps his head and does not go Gung-Ho with Oscar too early and for too Long, certainly initially, Oscar was not good going side to side, he Bullrused in streight lines, and when you made him miss, had bad balance in realigning quickly, If Jerry uses the Lyle Fight Blueprint he should be home and dry, he his tough ands talented enough to Engage with Oscar when it is forced onto him, but the Danger is if Jerry tries to Stay Toe-to-Toe with Oscar, then he may be handing Oscar the opportunity to Land some of his Crude Often unpredictable, but very Heavy shots, Basically Jerry has to Perform like the first Eight Rounds of his Chavalo Fight - and not like the ninth Round of his Chavalo fight !

Jerry has the ability, he just need the temprement.

    Quarry decisions him, no doubt.

Oscar has a good chance here. Quarry wasn't always the smartest fighter and I can see him getting drawn into a brawl and getting the worst of it.

Quarry by ko. bonavena would give him a tough go of it but would eventually run into quarrys big punches and crumble in a heap. Quarry by ko in 7.

I just have a feeling Quarry blows it somehow, like he did against Chuvalo.

Quarry may have been inspired like he was against Mathis and Lyle, and fought a smart, effective fight against Oscar and won a decision.

If the Jerry Quarry shows up that fought Chuvalo then Bonavena has a good chance otherwise this is either a wide dec or a late stoppage for Quarry .

If both bring their best I feel Quarry wins a decision. But the Quarry that lost to Chuvalo would probably also lose to Bonavena.

Quarry was at his best in the Mathis, Spencer and Lyle fights...if he was "on" against Oscar like was in those fights he would have won a decision over Oscar.
