What is the most boring fight you've ever seen? One of the most boring fights I've ever seen is Fury vs Klitschko. It was so boring I decided to watch highlights and even that **** had me sleeping.
John Ruiz was pretty painful to watch. Not much skill, just one punch at a time and tie up on the inside.

Definitely. John Ruiz didn't fight like that when he was a cruiserweight and early in his heavyweight career. He began adopting that style after he got blown out by Tua in a couple seconds. It's basically what Jack Johnson and a lot of the old timers did. Bernard Hopkins adopted that style, too. He didn't fight like that early on. But, by adopting that style, Hopkins basically extended his career many many years. But I could barely watch his light heavyweight fights. Hopkins was as bad as Ruiz when it came to clinching. It's terrible to watch. The fighters who use it tend to be hiding major flaws in their own games. But, around the time Rahman and Tua fought a second time in an eliminator, I was pulling for Tua to win. Because I wanted to see Ruiz-Tua II. Using that style, it would've been interesting to see if Ruiz could've won an ugly decision over Tua. I think he might've pulled it off. He got a lot of experience doing it against Holyfield.
I agree to a point about Hopkins. He certainly did hold a lot more as he got older as opposed to his MW days when he was a really good inside fighter. He had a lot of versatility and would do some really smart stuff that as a former fighter I respect. His game plan was brilliant against Tarver. He knew how good Tarver was at taking the jab away from conventional fighter's so he would lead with right hands, clinch then turn and hook out. Ruiz was just a **** show but definitely effective with that style.
As great as I acknowledge he was, Griffith is often downright painfully boring to watch. Odd, considering he could be fairly aggressive and unafraid to mix it up but my god he was, in the words of John Cleese "irrepressibly drab and awful."
Any fight involving Hugo Corro. Watching him was exciting as staying home on a Saturday night to match socks.
