GSP may have beaten Jake, also he would like too be the greatest ever, which he could become, with his long winning streak and effective way of fighting, but as far as fighting suspence GSP or Anderson Silva are miles away from a prime Fedor or prime Wanderlei. Co mainevent was great. main event atsch shields totaly overrated, his stand up was as bad as mine :!:
I'll give George the benefit of the doubt here since everyone is allowed a sub par performance. That said, he may have won every round in that fight, but definitely not up to his usual standards. This very much leaves the door open for a fight with Nick Diaz. Which I think George should win if he gets back on track.
you know who invented this ****, pernell, than his succedor was mayweather jr., gsp learned from the best :smoke
diaz is the only obstacle in the division, than gsp basicly cleaned out the division. shields was overrated, he couldnt do **** for 25 minutes. gsp vs a. silva
4 decision fights in a row and 9 decision fights overall, that is simply pathetic. Give GSP a brawler instead of more safely safely UFC fighter. Rampage was right.
Yep, that's why i never buy GSP events and go to pub instead......... Plenty of booing in the pub Typical newbie UFC fans with an average age 21yrs and drining lemonade atsch.
george "work to my opponents weakness and bore the **** out of the fans " st.pierre what a terrible show of striking by both men tonight, gsp needs to take the finger out, the bitching about his eye was terrible too
yeah it was a bit boring but gsp won, which is what i wanted. i expected a hell of a lot more from jake after all the build up. gsp isn't known as a knockout artist, just like a myriad of other fighters aren't either, so i'm not disappointed at all. sure i would of preferred a real scrap between the two of them, but it takes two to tango, and jake really wasn't looking confiden't whatsoever. both of them are responsible for the boring fight, not just one of them. i know one guy who'll be telling everyone what a boring fighter gsp is, and thats matt hughes.
St. Pierre is too much of a technical fighter. You guys aren't going to get the same kind of excitement that you would from watching say, a Shogun or Velasquez.
I know, my eye my eye i cant see put a skirt on me,, **** he should watch the semi main event to see how guys react when they get bruised.
how the hell was pernell boring? he may not have stood in the middle of the rings, feet planted, and just swung like it was tough man, but the guy was entertaining as hell
