I know a lot of people were bored by the fight. I can understand this, but I enjoyed the fight. Jake Shields stand-up was very similar to Nick Diaz. in other words good I thought. I was also interested by the huge difference in reach. Jake was having an edge, because he was much less broad shouldered. gsp definitely looked like he was having a bad day at the office.
You have no understanding of the French-Canadian culture. To the average Quebecois GSP is a God with his continued domination of the deepest weight division in the UFC. They are a proud people who are still considering forming their own country. GSP won and all is good.
