    Hey im hoping someone can answer this. Looking for the name of a boxer from new york, was a professional and fought people like gene tunney although never was quite good enough to make it really big. He served in ww2 with the army air forces in a signal company building communication lines probably as a lineman. Any help wpuld be great!!

    Johnny Risko is all I can come up with but he wasn't from New York. Really tough guy though...
