A trainer who got his first big time job by asking for the phone number of two girls on a beach. The guy who said other British coaches were lazy in comparison to him. The guy who laughed in an interview when somebody said that you never stop learning in boxing. This sport is too dangerous to have cheerleaders as head coaches. Even the running into the ring to put Joshua into a Greco-Roman clinch looked like a photo-op. I cannot stand the man.

Ben said in the post fight press conference Dubois did nothing that surprised them. I guess that first round KD was expected then. Good plan. Ben really was talking a load of rubbish in that presser, blimey.
I'm not saying he's a bad trainer or anything, but he always seems to be talking about shot selection, setting up shots, feints and all things offensive. I've never heard him talking about fighters not leaving their chin in the air, moving off the line and being defensive. When his fighters take punishment I never see much in the way of defensive adjustments, like Leigh Wood for example.
You have to question who is responsible for analysing Dubois and coming up with a gameplan to beat him. AJ seemed totally unprepared for what was coming at him, they either completely overlooked Dubois or didn't do their homework.
