just wondering, what are some of the boxers you think you could benefit in your game by studying their fights?

Of the top of my head id say Bernard Hopkins and Joe Louis are two good fighters to study, both very text book and complete fighters who can display great defence and offence. But it also depends on your height and build really, for example if your short and stocky then Tyson would be a good fighter to study and if your tall and lanky then Tommy Hearns etc.

it does help to study fighters my kid and I do all the time however its vital to remind the fighter that they are not Joe Louis, Evander Holyfield, Miguel Cotto ect... becuase they are not, so they can pick up a thing or two here and there but the fighter must remember that they have their own style and in no way is one fighter going to fight exactly like Louis or Holyfield.

i find terry norris mainly because he has a completely average body shape 5'9, 154LBs, 70' reach who is also a boxer-puncher. and doesnt rely on his reactions or speed as much but more on his conditioning and solid, solid techniques and stances. his high guard aswell with the left on the chin and the right on the temple so you can snap a jab and hook from the same stance and can lunge a right hand (over or under if needs be) with ease.

his jab and move technique i find very effective, very text book with a few tricks I.E. the jab cross then lead uppercut, small variations to basic technique.

So far according to what i've been taught, B-hop is essentially "perfect". Whenever i see my trainers performing moves or I gotta do pads and i visualize that style, i never get crap from my coaches. MIguel cotto is pretty text too, as well as Prime Arguello. Barrera is good, but he kinda raises his elbows high when hes in his guard.
