This reminds me of the time that Mike Jameson was forced to shave off his beard before he fought Mike Tyson.

 

his hair hits harder than his hands.

 

but he had a beard when he fought foreman....

 

True. I don't know how it works, I just remember the commentator saying that the ref forced him to shave his beard the day before the Tyson fight because it was too full. Perhaps it is at the discretion of the referee?

 

i think its something that if it bothers the opponent enough, they can force it to be shaved....but most dont even make an issue of it....
