Just thought of this today, but how many famous pro boxers have some sort of military (marines, army, navy etc.) background? Did it have any effect on their discipline and mindset? I know Steve Cunningham was in the navy, and Timothy Bradley was in US operation Desert Storm :rofl Who else?

I think heavyweight Malcom Tann also served in the military although he was a total ****ing bum.

Would Kassim Ouma's combat as a child qualify as military experience??

Let me repeat your original USS Steve Cunningham. He is our version of the UK's Carl Froch, i.e he gets close to zero coverage in US media, which is disgusting IMO.
