Boxfest UK Cancelled

Apologies if this has already been mentioned

The websites states 'EVENT CANCELED DUE TO LOCAL AUTHORITY RESTRICTIONS'

Bummer, I was going for me birthday:-(

 

got cancelled a few weeks ago i think mate, cant see why they cant just change the location then

 

Really! shame a **** lot of time and organisation down the pan for whoever

 

Was it? bollocks I've been away for a week and did have a quick look on the forum before I posted this thread

think bunce announced it on his show the other week, didnt say why.

didnt longcount fall out with his partner who was doing this. he's probly happy :hey

 

I thought it was fairly amicable? I know there was some aggro on here concerning the Armed Forces involvement in the event

 

yea some saying it was a way to recruit boxing fans to join the army

 

So SQUADDIEFEST '10 has been cancelled due to lack of interest.

I for one am delighted!

I'm kind of bummed as I was looking forward to picking up some memorabilia and meeting some fighters, had no interest in the Military side of the event, plus it was only gonna be a short drive from me and was happening the day after me birthday

 

unlucky, go and pick up a hooker as a birthday treat if theres any left round there that havent been murdered like

Hope the organisers didnt lose too much time and money. It sounded like it wasnt going to be a decent little set up. Me and a few mates were gonna drive down.
