    Boxing in 2008.

    Do you feel let down or do you feel that as a fan you were given fights that you wanted to see?

    Before this year the top 3 fights I wanted to see were

    Pac/JMM II
    Cotto/Margarito
    Izzy/Marquez III

    all fights went to who i predicted and wanted to win, as a fan I feel very satisfied.

    top 3 fights I want in 2009 are

    Pac/Hatton
    Dawson/Calzaghe
    Izzy/JML

    Those top 3 for this year were my list as well.
    Dissapoints for me were
    Oscar de la hoya's noise about becoming a welterweight and landing like the Hindinberg
    The Calzaghe/Jones Jr. farce
    Hatton's fight with Lazcano but he made up for it against Malignaghi


    Fights that I did not think I would like but did were:
    Hoya/Pacquaio
    Hopkins/Pavlik

    Yes, Dawson/Calzaghe has to happen

    It was good. Izzy v Marquez, Cotto v Margo, JMM v Casamayor, Hopkins v Pavlik, lots of good fights went in my favor.

    Despite the big, obvious disappointments, it was a good year.

    There was both good and bad in the year. Some things were delivered, and others weren't.

    2008 was the year of the upset. I am bit disappointed about some things, but others were very exciting.

    Not a Great year imo, too many mismatch's,
    Hopefully 2009 will be better!
